We Are The Scribes of Our Time.
A community of African thinkers, writers, and believers documenting our continent through the renewing lens of Christ.
Scripture Highlight
“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.”
— Habakkuk 2:2

The Scribe-Africa exists because we believe something simple but profound; Africa must also be written by those whose minds are renewed by Christ.
The Scribe Africa’s manifesto
We Believe Africa Must Be Written
Every civilization is shaped by those who record its story. Empires rise. Cultures evolve. Nations transform. But the future always belongs to those who interpret their moment and write with clarity. For too long, the African story has been written about us, around us, and sometimes without us.
We Are A Community of Scribes
In the Scriptures, scribes were never merely writers.
They were students of the Word,
interpreters of truth,
and guardians of sacred memory.
Ezra is described as:
“A scribe skilled in the Law of Moses.” — Ezra 7:6
The scribes preserved the law, chronicled the acts of kings, and ensured that the story of God among His people was never lost to time.
At The Scribe Africa, we recover this ancient vocation. Not as historians alone. Not as commentators alone. But as faithful observers of our time. We study. We ask questions. We listen to God. And then we write.
Inspired by the Prophet Habakkuk
Our calling echoes a moment in the life of the prophet Habakkuk.
Troubled by the future of his nation, Habakkuk sought answers from God.
God’s response was clear:
“Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.” — Habakkuk 2:2
The prophet was told to prepare tablets before the vision arrived. Because the vision would require witnesses. At The Scribe Africa, we live with our tablets open. Ready to observe. Ready to think. Ready to record. Ready to write the unfolding story of Africa through the light of Scripture. So that those who read may run with clarity, courage, and faith.
